Questions

The things people ask first

If something you need is not here, ask us before you sign up rather than after.

What is Serenity Hub?
A platform that connects people to verified therapists, with self-assessment tools and an assistant for the time between sessions. The therapy itself is provided by qualified professionals, not by us and not by software.
Is the assistant a therapist?
No, and it is built so that it cannot become one. It may explain, reflect and suggest evidence-based exercises. It may not diagnose, calculate a clinical score, advise on medication, or claim to be a person. These limits are enforced in the code rather than requested of the model.
How do you check therapists?
Every professional submits their licence and supporting documents, and a reviewer verifies them before the profile becomes visible or bookable. An application that is still in progress does not appear in search and cannot take bookings.
Who can see what I write?
Your therapist sees what you share with them. Journal entries, messages and assessment answers are encrypted, and platform administrators cannot read clinical content — that restriction is built into the system rather than left to policy.
Can I delete my data?
You can raise an erasure request from your privacy settings, and we record it the day you ask. Your journal, mood entries and assistant transcripts are erased by destroying the key that reads them. A clinical record your therapist is legally required to keep may have to survive; if any of yours does, we tell you which and why.
What if I am in crisis right now?
Go to the urgent help page, linked in the footer of every page. It works without an account, without signing in, and without the assistant. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number.
Which languages do you support?
Persian, English, German, Turkish and Estonian. Persian is the primary edition rather than a translation, and the interface lays out right-to-left properly. Assessment questionnaires are only offered in a language where a validated translation of that questionnaire exists.
What does it cost?
Each therapist sets their own session fee, shown on their profile before you book. Browsing the directory and reading the resources costs nothing and does not require an account.
